Our Mission Statement

The Allen Park Citizens Civic Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization created by a group of Allen Park citizens to provide support to new and existing community organizations to address unmet community needs.

We accomplish our mission by:

• Systematically identifying community needs and communicating them to the community through its diverse community organizations;

• Identifying opportunities for collaboration among community organizations and for community-business partnerships;

• Identifying volunteers and linking them with community organizations;

• Providing support to existing and new community organizations through seed funding and technical assistance in grant writing, marketing, and recruiting and managing volunteers.

As a result of our efforts, Allen Park has a vibrant community life with an engaged citizenry and a rich diversity of community organizations supporting a wide range of civic, educational, athletic and cultural activities.
